Installation Options

You have two basic options for connecting the eX 10 to a customer’s factory radio

Option #1: Use the factory AUX input.

If the customer’s car has a factory auxiliary input, the eX 10’s AUX output can connect directly to this input. If the vehicle is so equipped, Option #1 will provide the best sound quality.

OR

Option #2: Use the KWE 155B antenna splitter.

Here’s what’s included with the eX 10:

Alpine offers an optional KWE 155B FM antenna splitter to allow the eX 10 to be wired directly into the vehicle’s factory radio antenna. This option provides much better sound quality than using the eX 10’s built in FM transmitter.
