The Alcatel-Lucent7549 Media Gateway (MGW) forms an integral part of theAlcatel-LucentMobile NGN Solution, delivering a dramatically simplified architecture as well as seamlessly evolving to an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). Ahigh-density,multiservice media gateway with voice anddata-bearerinterfaces, including TDM, IP and ATM, theAlcatel-Lucent7549 MGW is capable of performingany-to-anyswitching, including nativeTDM-to-TDM,nativepacket-to-packetandTDM-to-packet.
